Trigger a Flow with PowerTextor Trigger
If you are an organization that receives hundreds and thousands of messages all day but all of them have their own worth, and you want to make use of every received SMS then PowerTextor is the right choice by all means!
Let’s assume a scenario when you have an event scheduled for the next month and you want to get notified for every received SMS to add the number as a registration in your inbox. Which ultimately means that you want to automate the process of creating an email whenever a text is received. Let’s build a Power Automate flow that will automate the scenario for you.
- Assuming you have your events created in PowerTextor and have the Contacts and Groups associated with those events. Select the type of flow that would suit your need. Now, type in PowerTextor and establish a connection with the API Key to load in your Contacts and Groups in Power Platform.
- Now add a trigger action, such as an email as a next step in your flow. So the system would know which action to perform when a text message is received. Create a connection with the mailbox, I am using Outlook so I have connected my mailbox.
- Here I have added an email option to send an email when a text message is received. Provide required details such as the email address who should receive the email, the subject of the email and the email body.
- You can add additional details in the ‘Advanced Options’ too if needed.
