Integrating Custom Pages in Model Driven

The custom page is a new page type within a model-driven app, which brings the power of canvas apps into model-driven apps. 

First, we will have to create a custom page, connect it with Dataverse Table on which you want its functionality to be performed. Let’s take a simple example of custom page here:

Here we have two fields of a table “Product Samples”, which will trigger a patch function on Save button click. For Achieving this functionality, we will have to Customize OnSelect property of the button, As shown below:

DataCardValue1 contains Value from Description and DataCardValue2 contains Value from Topic, both are to be defaulted in the Product Sample Record. RecordItem is the GUID which helps us get Information on the record. We have to set RecordItem on OnStart property of the app as shown below:

Now we will have to call this Page via JavaScript web resource which can be triggered by a button click on form-level ribbon.
