How to Create & Configure Views in Model Driven App

Part I

After creating the Tables with their columns with different data types, one more thing comes up i.e. Views. In the Model driven app we can configure and create multiple views for a particular Table with important Columns in their list view.

Views will help in finding and filter the records as per the user requirements and we can easily identify that whether records are exists in the correct filter or not. It helps in distribution of records with each type of filter.

Default Views:

In Model driven app when a new Table is created with some Columns then following default views are created by default:

  • Active View
  • Inactive View
  • Advanced Find View
  • Associated View
  • Lookup View
  • Quick Find

Step of Creating Views:

Follow these steps you can create new Views by using these steps:

  • Select the Dataverse of the left pane.
  • Select your created Table then select views

  • Now click on View and Select the New View button on Left corner of the command bar

Rest of the steps and description will continue in next Blog.
