How to Configure or Create Relationships between Tables
Part III
How to Create Many-to-Many Relationships:
In Many-to-Many relationship a bridge table or intersection table create that stores only required information from both tables. The intersection table can have a one-to-many relationship with both the Related Tables to stores the necessary information to define the relationship. You cannot add custom columns or lookup columns in that table. Intersection table is not visible on User Interface as well.
Steps of Creating Relationship:
Follow the steps from 1 to 6 in One-to-many relationship and then follow the below steps:
- Now select the Many-to-Many relationship type.
- Then add the Related Column in Related Many field.
- After adding the Table name, click on Done and you many-to-many relationship established.
Conclusion:
Follow all the above steps you can create many-to-many relationship between the tables as per your requirements.
