How to Create Table and Import Data into Microsoft Dataverse Database Part IV

| Usama Ashraf

In this example, we learn how to import data into our new or in existing tables. You can export more than one Table at a time. If you export more than one table, each table is exported its own Excel file. Follow these below steps to import the Data into Table:

  • Open make.powerapps.com and select your environment
  • On left navigation expand Dataverse and Select Tables
  • Now select the table that you want to export
  • Select Export from top and click Export Data
  • Once file is exported then select Download exported data and save the file

Copy Data into your Template or Edit the Saved File:

  • Open the saved CSV file that you created
  • Add least one new row of data. You only need to add information to the columns
  • If you download the previous created table “Pets” then you add data into the following columns:
    • Appointment Date
    • Breed
    • Pet Name
    • Species
    • Created On
  • Save the file

In this Blog, we learn about that how to export the Table data from any particular table with their attributes. Now in the next Blog will discuss how to Import the updated exported file in Dataverse and new records added in a table.
